I've been crafting up a storm lately so I thought I would show a few WIP shots.
Here's a crib sized quilt for baby girl that I have been working on. Again, first thought was to keep it for myself and hang it in my own bedroom but of course, young miss will have it instead. See how unselfish motherhood is making me? I think it doesn't matter that my first thought seems to always be myself--ultimately the shorties get the goods and that's what counts.
I'm finished quiliting it--did alternating X's and O's and it looks cute. Now I am just working on the laborious binding. Getting a lot of TV in while that goes down. I think we will hang it on the wall of her room, seeing as how she won't really be needing covers of her own for a while.
Shown here just about as large as life, a crocheted and then felted square for a new purse I am working on. Yes, for myself. Just a series of the same block sewn together in some fashion. I'm really winging this one, so I don't really know how it's all going to come together but I will keep you posted.
